I have been asking the Lord what is the next adventure for Almond Blossom Ministries. When someone asks if I have an event planned I must answer not yet because I haven’t received an answer from the Lord. I’m waiting for Him.
This week I was reading of how Moses was preparing to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he and the Lord had a conversation that moves me. God promises to go before them on the journey and Moses says in response that he wouldn’t go if the Lord didn’t! Then Moses asked to see God’s glory, so God hid Moses in the cleft of a rock and allowed Moses to see His back as He passed by. God told Moses that if he were to see His face Moses would die.
I recently heard that if God showed us our whole future, we wouldn’t be able to handle it. So maybe one day at a time is just fine!
Are you, like me, asking for direction in some area of your life and it seems to just be the sound of crickets? We must remember that God does things differently than we do. When we know He is leading us and when we ask to see His glory, we can wait with peace and joy!
I heard a message this week and the pastor said, “With every problem, there is a promise and provision”. So today in my journal I wrote my problems down and then I found scriptures of promise to stand on and I am trusting God for His provision and answer. I encourage you to do the same!
The truth is, He may be tucking us in the cleft of a rock so He can show us His glory! Jesus felt every emotion we feel and He now stands as our High Priest praying for us. Thank You Jesus! So be encouraged my friends. I ask the Lord to show us His glory today!
